Want to know how New York City was in 1850?

First of all thanks for visiting this blog. I too love to explore history as you.

As my personal interest coincides with my professional life - I love my job to spend all my time in preserving the past & present.

Am a Technical Assistant at NY Public Library, NY City. Thanks to my manager for her support in debuting this blog & giving me this opportunity to share information about very rare historical maps.

Let us start with this unique rare collection by NY Public Library. This is how our NY City was in 1850's.
